Costs for many investors can eat up too much of their return. Second, as FIDUCIARIES we are required to put the interests of our clients before our own. Other consultants may charge commissions and operate under the less stringent "suitability" standard. Third, our advisor has three decades of experience and training relevant to investments and financial planning. This is not always the case at other firms. Finally, we use low-cost exchange-traded funds that attempt to track market averages. Many other firms try to beat the markets with a variety of strategies, but often with limited success.
